Boarding Request (No Services)

All pets admitted to Piper Glen Animal Hospital must be current on the following vaccinations: Canine - Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella; Feline - Rabies and Distemper. Piper Glen Animal Hospital reserves the right to vaccinate your boarded pet(s) in the absence of proof of up-to-date vaccines.

If your pet will require any services with vaccines while here for the boarding stay we require you check them in for boarding AT LEAST 3 hours prior to closing. This is for the safety of your pet, after receiving a vaccination reactions can begin occurring within hours. Even if your pet hasn't reacted to a vaccine in the past, reaction can occur any time a vaccine is given.

Your pet(s) must be current on flea protection to stay in our facility. It is strongly recommended for your pet(s) to be current on heartworm and intestinal parasite protection as well. If your pet(s) is not current or shows signs of parasites, we will treat your pet(s) with the most effective single dose of medication at the owner's expense.
  • Important:

Please note that these requests are reviewed as they are received, and one of our friendly and caring receptionists will reach out to confirm or alert you of anything important within 24 to up to 48 hours if received on the weekend.
  • If you and your pet are not set up in our system yet, please go to the "Clients" tab on our website, and select "New Client Account Form" before continuing with this request. This will allow us to better serve you and your boarding needs.
  • We will do our best to honor this request as long as there is adequate space in the preferred accommodation and that they do well in a shared space boarding environment together. If more than 2 dogs, we may have to split them up into multiple accommodations.

Note: All felines must stay separate for their safety as well as monitoring protocols. Since many cats eat and use the litterbox overnight, it is important we are able to tell which cat is doing what throughout their stay in the event medical services are needed should GI symptoms or any other issue arise.
  • Multiple Pet Notice:

Boarding multiple pets together in a single accommodation is done at the owner's request and the owner assumes all risk and responsibility. If you have chosen to board multiple pets together, we reserve the right to observe their behavior and, if necessary, separate them. If there are any injuries sustained from multiple pet accommodations, treatment of the injuries is the financial responsibility of the owner.
